The mailbox looked like any other one, with its cylindrical body and its flag to signal mail. As we were approaching, a sticker became visible: its colors had certainly faded, but its text was still readable: “Vote for Change,” a five-years-old saying.
In the alley with beautiful houses, as in the rest of the country, have changes occurred? The mailbox remained the same and the sticker was not covered by one of those made for the new campaign. Then a call to action, it became a disappointed hope, a cherished memory, a trace of what could have happened.
